How to know if your Dior Bag is real

Answer: Look at the label inside the bag — it’ll easily tell if your Dior bag is real. Fakes have the wrong thickness for their text and stitching.

  • Same amount of space between each character.
  • Thicker “MADE IN ITLY” print.
• Falso:
  • Too much space between the letters in “Dior”.
  • “MADE IN ITALY” is too thin.

2. Outer logo

You’ll find this engraving on models like the Dior Book Tote.

• Auténtico: Thicker letters. Also placed closer to each other.
• Falso: “PARIS” is too thin — and there’s too much space between the letters.

3. Manipulador

• Auténtico: Thick and short threads.

Note how the fake threads are not dense enough. The real ones are more consistent.

• Auténtico:
  1. Thicker, shorter threads.
  2. The threads are bigger.
• Falso:

5. Oblique pattern

• Auténtico: The dot in “i” is closer to the vertical leg.
• Falso: Too much space between the dot and the letter “i”.

6. Carbines

• Auténtico: Thicker letters. They’re fit deeper into the metal.
• Falso: Letters are too thin — especially the dot in “i”.

7. Interior

• Auténtico: Stitching is thicker compared to the replica.
• Falso: Thinner stitches.

8. Shape

• Auténtico: Wider than the fake.
• Falso: Narrower shape.

9. Keychain

• Auténtico: “CD” is deeper into the metal, hence why it looks thicker.
• Falso: Thinner “CD” engraving.

10. Teeth

• Auténtico: Smoother, less yellow teeth.
• Falso: Very shiny and golden teeth.

11. Box

• Auténtico: Thicker letters — none of them are scratched.
• Falso: Scratched “D” and thinner letters.

Authentic letters should be 100% filled with paint.
