How to check if Canada Goose is real
Check if your Canada Goose is real through the badge. Fake jackets have extra threads and potentially letters out of place.
1. Badge
1.1. Best replica
Authentic: Thinner symbols.
Fake: Thicker, bigger inscriptions and leaves.
1.1. Mid replica
Authentic:
Text has the correct, thinner lettering and more subtly crafted maple leaves.
Fake:
Text appears too thick and boxy, with the maple leaves also being distinctly thicker in design.
1.3 Low replica
Authentic:
Features larger leaves and appropriate spacing between them and the text. The “®” character is proportionally correct.
Fake:
Displays smaller leaves with excessive spacing from the text and a noticeably smaller and skinnier “®” character.
1.4. Older example
Here is another original Canada Goose badge.
This is an older authentic model.
Older (but authentic) versions may have thicker letters than newer jackets.

A quick mention:
The steps we’ve written so far are the BEST ways to authenticate this item The next few steps are still reliable methods… … but they apply to non-top-versions of replicas available for this item
If in doubt, we recommend double-checking the steps we’ve explained above this line.
3. Neck tag
3.1. Long text
Authentic: Thinner, more legible logos.
Fake: Thicker and bigger inscriptions.
Due to thickness, the fake “CANADA GOOSE ®” logo is harder to read than the original.
3.2. Short text
These are rather older neck tags.
Authentic:
Thinner “CANADA GOOSE®” text.
The “®” symbol is not connected to the word “GOOSE”.
Letters have more space between each other.
Fake:
Visibly thicker logo.
“®” is connected to “GOOSE”.
The letters are too in the “CANADA GOOSE ®” print.

“CANADA GOOSE ®” is also thinner.

Thicker “STYLE/STYLE” text.

Fake:
Empty “®” symbol.
The letter “R” is missing inside. Not visible at all.
6. Holographic tag
This is about the reflective “CL …” tag.
We’re also taking a look at the “Quality Reassurance” blue tag over here.
Authentic:
The reflective tag is less shiny, maintaining a subtle reflectiveness.
The blue tag is not as vibrant.
Fake:
The reflective tag is excessively shiny, easily noticeable even without close inspection.
The shade of blue for the other tag is too intense.

Authentic: The button’s engraving is thinner.
Fake: “CANDA GOOSE” text is too thick.
8. Expedition ®
Not all jackets have this. This is specific to the Expedition collection.
