Let’s go.
How to tell if a Loewe bag is real
You can tell if a Loewe bag is real if the text on the interior “LOEWE” label has the same thickness for all letters. The same applies to its stitches!
1. Label
Authentic:
Thicker “Made in Spain” text.
Every thread is perfectly aligned — also shorter than the fake stitches.
Fake:
Text is too thin.
Stitching is crooked and longer than the authentic.

Fake: Smaller gap between the leather panels.
3. Side

4. Pull tab
This tab helps you open and close the bag (it operates the zipper).

A quick mention:
The steps we’ve written so far are the BEST ways to authenticate this item
The next few steps are still reliable methods…
… but they apply to non-top-versions of replicas available for this item
If in doubt, we recommend double-checking the steps we’ve explained above this line.
5. Handler
Authentic: Thinner, smaller threads.
Fake: Thicker stitches, once again.
6. Flap logo
Authentic: Fit deep into the leather, having a bold look.
Fake: Not fit as deep as the real one — hence why it looks thinner.
7. Strap
Also known as the belt of your Loewe bag.
Authentic: Thinner stitches, angled at around 15 degrees.
Fake: Thicker and straight stitches.
8. Stitching
We’ll look outside the bag — on the leather panels.
Authentic: Thinner and a bit longer threads.
Fake: Thick, small, and boxy stitches.
9. Carbine
Authentic: Thicker, more solid text.
Fake: “LOEWE” is too thin.
The genuine bag’s text is fit deeper into the metal That’s why it looks thicker than the replica.
10. Dust bag
Both dust bags below are in the same picture.
There is no picture size difference between the two.
Authentic: Bigger label.
Fake: Smaller tab.
Also see how the fake dust ba gis black at the top/bottom edges, while the real one is white.
