How to spot fake Rolex

Authentic:

• The bubble is black, as it should be.

Fake:

• The bubble appears blue instead of the correct black.

Authentic Rolex Datejust:

• The window reflects an appropriate amount of light.
• Numbers are correctly aligned on the lens.

Fake Rolex Datejust:

• The window doesn’t reflect as much light.
• Numbers are misaligned on the lens.
• The “28” is too thick and too big.
• Be mindful of light issues on the window and font-weight problems on the text.

Authentic GMT-Master II Watch:

• Inscriptions, including “ROLEX” text, lines, and crown logo, are of correct thickness.
• “GENEVA” and “SWISS MADE” texts are appropriately thick.
• Proper spacing between the words “GENEVA” and “SWISS MADE.”

Fake GMT-Master II Watch:

• Inscriptions including “ROLEX” text, lines, and crown logo, appear too thin.
• “GENEVA” and “SWISS MADE” texts are also too thin.
• Excessive space between the words “GENEVA” and “SWISS MADE.”
