How to spot fake Yeezy 950 boots
To spot fake Yeezy 950 boots, check the size tag inside each shoe, as replica 950s often have issues with font-weight and text size.
For further details, please continue reading below.
1. Size tag
Authentic:
“MADE IN CHINA” text has consistent and thinner font-weight.
Size numbers are thicker and solid.
Date of manufacturing text is bigger, slightly bolder, and thicker.
“adidas ®” text is thicker.
“US UK FR JP CHN” text is bold and thick.
Fake:
“MADE” text in “MADE IN CHINA” is too thick; “IN CHINA” text is too thin.
Size numbers are too thin.
Date of manufacturing text is too small and slightly thinner.
“adidas ®” text is too thin.
“US UK FR JP CHN” text is visibly too thin.

2. Box label
Release Versions:
Yeezy 950 sneakers are released in two versions: US and International.
US Version Label:
Features sizes for US, UK, and F. US size is in large print, while UK and F are smaller.
Serial number should end with V02 or V03.
International Version Label:
Displays sizes for six countries (US, UK, F, D, J, and CHN), all in equal print.
Serial number should end with V10.
Fake Product Indicators:
Deviation in the size and serial number pattern.
For instance, a fake US version might mistakenly have a serial number ending in V10.
3. Lacing
All real adidas x YEEZY boots follow the same pattern:
Authentic:
Left shoe: Lace from left side (near the stripe) is beneath the right-side lace.
Right shoe: Lace from right side (near the stripe) is beneath the left-side lace.
Fake:
Laces are improperly attached, displaying an “inverted laces” flaw, not following the authentic lacing pattern.
Unclear? Let’s go deeper:
This works just for deadstock (brand new, never unlaced) pairs.
A quick mention:
The steps we’ve written so far are the BEST ways to authenticate this item
The next few steps are still reliable methods…
… but they apply to non-top-versions of replicas available for this item
If in doubt, we recommend double-checking the steps we’ve explained above this line.
4. Tongue
4.1. adiads
Authentic: The “adidas” inscription on the label is deeply engraved, resulting in a thicker appearance.
Fake: The “adidas” text is not engraved deeply enough, making it appear too thin.
4.2. YEEZY
Authentic: The “YEEZY” text is engraved less deeply into the suede, resulting in a thinner appearance.
Fake: The “YEEZY” text is engraved too deeply into the suede, making it appear too thick.
5. Stitching
This is right below the laces, above the toe box.
Authentic: The rectangles are smaller, taller, and boxier with more empty space inside.
Fake: The rectangles are too short (narrow) and too wide (long), with too little empty space inside.
6. Toe box
Authentic: The toe box is less curvy with the front tip closer to the ground.
Fake: Toe box is overly curvy, with the front edge positioned too far away from the ground.
Shortlist: Verify your boots
Use this list when you’re in a rush:
Examine the size tag inside each of your Yeezy pairs. Replicas of the 950s often have inscriptions that are either too thick or too thin.
Inspect the box label inscription of your Yeezy 350 V2s. Some fake pairs may have incorrect “V10,” “V02,” or “V03” inscriptions based on their region.
Observe how the laces are attached to your shoes; replica pairs often have inverted laces.
Check the text on the tongue badges. Fake 950s frequently have text that appears either too thick or too thin.
Take note of the stitching rectangles on the suede panel below the laces. Counterfeit Adidas Yeezy 950 boots tend to have rectangles with too little empty space inside.
Examine the toe box of your shoes, as many replica Yeezy pairs have a toe box that is excessively thick and lacks curvature.
